What is Loadbalancer Enterprise ADC?

Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs) built on open source technology, available as hardware or virtual solutions.

Built for high performance, the Enterprise AWS load balancer is specifically designed for a broad range of AWS services. It is presented as ideal for hybrid deployments. And Loadbalancer presents its hardware products as ideal when in need of a high performance load balancer with the flexibility of backwards compatibility and future upgrades without replacing the appliance.

All Loadbalancer's ADCs include a built-in WAF regardless of the appliance chosen: Hardware, Virtual or Cloud. These also protect against common DDoS and DoS attacks by tracking and limiting connections. Powered by HAProxy 2, the solution gives users the added layer of security to mitigate against any type of threat.

Easy to use: Many users have found the product easy to use and configure, mentioning that it is intuitive and provides easily interpretable data for management review. Some users even compared the product to other load balancers they evaluated and stated that loadbalancer.org was the easiest to set up and use.

Excellent support team: The support team of loadbalancer.org has received high praise from several users for their brilliance, quick responses, and competence. Users appreciate that the support team consists of senior-level engineers who are able to provide helpful assistance in a timely manner.

Cost-effective solution: Users have described ADC as a cost-effective, well-designed, and feature-rich solution. They mention being able to quickly deploy and configure LB and WAF services with minimal experience. Additionally, the extensive guides, knowledge base, call-in support provided by loadbalancer.org contribute to its value for money proposition.

  1. Limited Integration with Metaswitch Enhanced Application Server: Some users have mentioned that Loadbalancer.org does not integrate properly with all pieces of a Metaswitch Enhanced Application Server, requiring constant rule-writing by the end user. This can be frustrating and time-consuming for those who rely on seamless integration between the two systems.

  2. Outdated Interface and Reporting: Several reviewers have suggested that the interface and reporting features of Loadbalancer.org are outdated and in need of a facelift. They feel that the current design is not visually appealing and lacks modern functionality, which hinders their overall user experience.

  3. Lack of API Support: Some users have found the lack of API support to be a downside, limiting their ability to integrate Loadbalancer.org with other systems or automate certain tasks.
