Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We assign training courses in Looop, to employees in certain positions. Some of these training and courses are mandated, and some others are optional. It really depends on the position the employee holds within the company and what regulatory compliance is to be followed. We also use Looop to do Annual and performance reviews.

Pros

  • Easy to link to other critical applications.
  • Low maintenance.
  • Affordable.

Cons

  • API performance can be improved.
  • Customer support.

Likelihood to Recommend

Looop is very well suited for enterprise-type organizations where there is a diverse set of employees, teams, departments, sub-departments, and lines of business with multiple locations operating in various states and even countries. Looop is affordable when you drill down to cost per user and integrates well with various applications.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Used it as the online all in one training platform for Learning and Development of software and analytics professionals. Ran versatile online training and collaboration program for your leaders, employees, partners, or customers with real time tracking of training results. Managed the skill mix of team within the company by focusing on new age skills that needed priority training.

Pros

  • Analytics on training journey of individuals, how many opted, how much attrition, engagement level, etc.
  • Detailed automated survey on test taking, course, quality aspects

Cons

  • I did not find real time virtual classrooms in Looop which are available in some competitor products
  • Lacking a full suite of capabilities where micro content pieces are generated and crowdsourced by teams (just like YouTube)

Well suited for small and mid-market companies to automate Learning and Development and to improve compliance for certain mandatory trainings (like IT security training, sexual harassment training, etc.). Good for finding out insights and analytics on training and certification compliance of employees and partners. Optimized for almost any device - be it Mobile, Web or Tablet
