Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Normally, making small design changes required a lot of work to code or depends on a developer’s hand, so to create web content without the need of codification is really helpful. I can iterate on different designs, saving me a lot of time. Also, the creative control for the final product is one of my main objectives so the vision we have in design is not lost in the codification.

Pros

  • It feels more like "Designing" than "Coding"
  • What you see is actually what you get

Cons

  • Starting from scratch - Base templates
  • Advanced layout logic
  • Learning curve for custom elements
  • Localhost stability

Return on Investment

  • Cost savings on external dev work
  • Improved on faster iteration
  • Efficiency via p2p collaboration
