State-of-the-Art Imaging Algorithms for Radiographs: According to the vendor, Metron-DVM utilizes advanced imaging algorithms, including multi-resolution wavelet decomposition filters, contrast enhancement, latitude reduction, and wavelet de-noise, to provide high-quality radiographs for accurate diagnosis.
Dental Radiography and Intra-Mouth Photographs: Metron-DVM allows veterinary professionals to capture and arrange dental images using dental positioning charts. The software also offers interactive companion animal positioning guides to coach staff, along with a 3-D skull with teeth for staff education, according to the vendor.
Supports various Imaging Devices: Metron-DVM is compatible with a wide range of imaging devices, including DR Flat Panel, CR Scanner, Dental Sensors, any DICOM compliant device, USB Video Cameras, any Twain compliant device, direct eFilm interface, and the ability to grab frames from AVI video clips, as claimed by the vendor.
