Microsoft Security Exposure Management Review
Rating: 10 out of 10
IncentivizedUse Cases and Deployment Scope
We recommend it to our managed service providers. Because it's integrated with O365 so well, it's easy to implement and the learning curve is light. It's lighter than other SEMs.
Pros
- It's ease of use, it's integration. It's just seamless with the other Microsoft products, which is the ecosystem.
Cons
- We'd always like it to go deeper. It's not a red team. It's not a pen test, we know, but just cross referencing vulnerabilities. It's easy to just keep going deeper and deeper and deeper.
Likelihood to Recommend
It's very well suited in the managed service provider space to service the small to medium businesses. We haven't used it much up at the enterprise level. Small to medium enterprises, though, it's fit for purpose. I couldn't speak to the enterprise. It makes sense, especially when it comes to developing cyber awareness amongst the knowledge workers in the security operations center. It keeps people's eyes on the ball.
