Nightfall AI and Nightfall DLP, from Shoreline Labs (Nightfall) in San Francisco, are sensitive-data discovery and exfiltration-prevention solutions. The platform uses machine learning to identify business-critical data, including customer personally identifiable information (PII), across SaaS applications, APIs, and data infrastructure so organizations can manage and protect that data.

For AI-agent and Model Context Protocol (MCP) workflows, Nightfall discovers MCP servers and monitors agent activity, including prompts, file uploads, API calls, tool calls, and responses. The platform can inspect data in transit, detect sensitive content and unusual access patterns, enforce role-based access and data-classification policies, and block, redact, or quarantine risky activity. Security teams can also use Nightfall to track MCP-server changes, identify unapproved AI tools, and maintain audit logs of AI-agent data access.
