What is Nomadesk?

Nomadesk is a business file sharing and synchronization platform. It allows employees at enterprises to access secure data remotely, while complying with corporate IT requirements. 

Nomadesk file security features are a main differentiator from free cloud storage solutions. Security features include an encrypted local drive, Theftguard (the ability to wipe devices remotely), and an online trashcan, among others. Nomadesk also offers unlimited storage, file revisions tracking, and file backup. According to the vendor, these features are helpful for mobile users who need to collaborate on files containing sensitive data.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have successfully used Nomadesk as our primary online, shared file system for over a dozen years. This is both entirely online as well as resident on our computers. We have also used Nomadesk for secure file transfers to and from clients. They have been extremely few problems or issues over the years. The Nomadesk staff has always been prompt, helpful, friendly, and professional.
