What is Numspot?

Numspot is a sovereign cloud platform for deploying virtual machines, containerized applications, databases, and storage. It combines on-demand infrastructure with managed services for organizations that need control over sensitive workloads and their hosting environment. The platform distinguishes standard and SecNumCloud zones, with separate regional service endpoints.

Key Capabilities
  • Compute and networking: Teams can provision virtual machines, storage, and network resources through the administration console, APIs, or Terraform. Virtual private networks provide connectivity between cloud resources and external environments.
  • Managed Kubernetes: Users configure clusters, Kubernetes versions, network ranges, and worker-node profiles, then connect through standard Kubernetes tools. Clusters can use public or private access; private access can be reached through a bastion virtual machine and a virtual private network.
  • Managed application services: The service portfolio includes PostgreSQL databases and a container registry for storing application images and software artifacts. These complement Kubernetes for deploying applications without operating every underlying component directly.
  • Object storage: An S3-compatible API supports backups, archives, media, and other unstructured data. Buckets support object versioning, expiration rules, access permissions, and time-limited download links.
  • Access governance: Identity and access management assigns roles and individual permissions to users, with access restricted to selected organizational spaces. User activation includes password setup and two-factor authentication.

Audience & Use Cases
Numspot serves infrastructure, development, and data teams, including those in public services, healthcare, and financial services. Uses include hosting sensitive applications, modernizing workloads with containers and managed databases, and storing backups or datasets through standard cloud interfaces.

Technical Specifications
  • Provisioning interfaces: Web console, APIs, and Terraform.
  • Hosting organization: Separate standard and SecNumCloud zones with region-specific endpoints.
  • Qualification scope: Numspot describes its sovereign infrastructure foundation as SecNumCloud-qualified. Its managed platform services are undergoing qualification; that status does not extend automatically to the entire service portfolio.
