NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails is an open-source Python framework and microservice that allows developers to add programmable safety, security, and semantic boundaries to Large Language Model (LLM) applications. It acts as an orchestrating middleware layer between the user interface and the backend LLM, intercepting and evaluating both user prompts and model responses.
