Ofelia Agentic
What is Ofelia Agentic?
Ofelia Agentic is Agentic Workflow Orchestration software that runs inside Slack and Microsoft Teams. A person asks a question against indexed company documentation, is walked through the procedure, and can start a governed workflow from the same conversation: approvals, handoffs, notifications, and connected-system updates, each recorded. The conversational surface is Conversational AI; execution runs on the Bonita business-process automation engine.
Key Capabilities
- Ofelia Assistant — Knowledge Agent: Indexes internal documents, policies, and enterprise data that the buyer has authorized. Answers come from that corpus, with access scoped by who may use the agent.
- Ofelia Assistant — Execution Agent: Triggers actions on connected systems from the same Slack or Teams thread. Published connector examples include Jira, Salesforce, SAP, and Confluence; REST and native connectors are available.
- Guidance in the conversation: Applies procedure rules while walking a person through the next steps, then can launch the matching workflow without leaving chat.
- Ofelia Workflow builder: Generates a workflow from existing documentation or from a natural-language description (steps, assignments, automations). Workflows can also be built from scratch. Publish puts an instance into production with version control and history.
- Workflow Agent: Executes those steps with human-in-the-loop checkpoints. Approvals, escalation rules, and SLA enforcement are first-class. A change to the source procedure is intended to update the live workflow so written policy and running process stay aligned.
- Governance: Role-based access control on interactions; the agent operates inside the rights of the person it works for. Every agent action and approval is written to an audit log. Critical steps require a human decision.
- Analytics: Process-performance dashboards ship with Ofelia Workflow. Workflows can integrate with Bonita Work Hub for task management.
- Packaged processes: More than 30 ready-to-deploy use cases spanning HR (onboarding, policy self-service), IT (access request and provisioning, CAB/change management), finance and procurement, and operations.
- Shared engine: Ofelia Agentic and Bonita BPM use the same BPA engine and the same governance rules. Bonita BPM is the sibling product for mission-critical operations that need dedicated process applications (Bonita Studio, Process Designer, UI Builder).
Audience & Use Cases
- Audience: Operations, HR, IT, finance, and procurement teams in mid-sized and larger organizations that already work in Slack or Teams and need procedure-faithful execution with an audit trail.
- Use Case — HR: Onboarding that notifies IT, facilities, HR, and the manager in sequence; policy questions answered from current documents, then a follow-on workflow if the policy requires one.
- Use Case — IT: Access request with manager approval, security review, automatic expiration; change requests routed as standard, normal, or emergency CAB paths.
- Use Case — finance and operations: Recurring approval, handoff, and system-update circuits launched from chat rather than from a separate process portal.
