OpenText Connectivity, formerly Hummingbird, are products supporting remote access to Linux, UNIX, Windows and mainframe applications. The vendor states Connectivity products allow organizations to leverage a global workforce by centralizing resources and complex, graphically demanding software in a datacenter, saving IT costs, increasing security and fostering collaboration. The Suite includes OpenText SOCKS proxy server, the OpenText Exceed products, the HostExplorer terminal emulator, and the NFS access gateway products.
