Apart from the Oracle Java SE Subscription Service, we have evaluated Scala as well. But the advantage of the Oracle SE subscription is that it provides other powerful tools as well at a very low monthly price and Java is one of the widely used programming languages and this helps to manage the deployments quite easily.

I chose the Oracle Java SE Subscription because of the low cost as compared to other products. Also, the performance of the product is quite powerful since it's written in Java which is a powerful language to be worked upon. Also, it has a strong community and the support staff is quite helpful as well to resolve the issues within hours only.

As Java has been developed by Oracle, you can rely on them being the best providers for support and implementation of Java across a large variety of systems. The support staff around the SE subscription have been exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process from purchasing to post-installation support. The subscription itself gives you a strong development platform along with access to a variety of useful tools all of which are on par with other industry-standard systems. The simple UI and strong inter-connectivity with other Oracle systems far exceed what other providers are trying to provide.

Scala relies on the JVM similar to Oracle Java SE Subscription. It has some very nice language features that Java has incorporated over the years. It is, however, a functional programming language that is a bit more obtuse and harder to pick up for those not familiar. This reason, along with the greater community support, is why we tend to lean towards Oracle Java SE as our primary programming language.

Oracle Java SE Subscription lets you use Oracle JDK and also provides long-term support for all LTS versions of Java, especially for older versions such as Java 8. The security patches it provides are critical in today's IT landscape. OpenJDK is mostly comparable from a technical perspective but does not have the same level of support provided via the subscription.

The software engineering team is having a great time with the Oracle Java SE Subscription service. The pricing is good but can be reduced further as well. But it offers amazing features and the support provided by the team is great and the staff is able to help very quickly. Also, the community is great and the team is able to find the solution to most of the issues online.

The performance has proven to our organization that this is the best version for securing data and giving updates and optimization on time. We selected this tool due to its performance in configuration and settings across our company.

I have had a great experience in Oracle Java SE Subscription. I have not had an opportunity to work with such a powerful tool. My experience has proven that this is the most powerful programming product and web application management tool.

It is more suitable and effective to opt for Oracle Java SE Subscription to receive enhanced support for your Java SE Applications.
The support team is highly qualified and technically sound to manage your Java SE Applications properly. Also they are available 24*7 to make sure applications are up-to-date.

I was a user of IntelliJ IDEA previously but our organization was working on Oracle Java SE, so we had to understand this environment. But it was quite easy to use this, too, as user interface, ease of use is there and complexity is quite low, so users can work on this in no time.

Oracle Java SE Subscription and Firebase both have great development kits. Oracle has a much larger support base and backing, so it seemed like the smarter choice to invest in. Python IDLE had lower subscription fees. Again, Oracle is well known and seamlessly works with all of our other Oracle products, so it was worth it for slightly pricier fees.

OpenJDK is something wich a lot of our customers are ok with. Also, there are other technology stack, which can completely replace the provided feature set what oracle provides: AWS, Azure, Firebase... or just a simple Node.JS or any other on-premise backend server. Sadly we see an increasing count of ppl switching to these platforms.

We've worked with Oracle Java SE Subscription for a long time as it's our client requirement. A couple of years ago we tried considering others, but Oracle Java Subscription stands very unique in various aspects like platform independence, security , reusability and the quality of support. There are so many trained users available for Java which is an added advantage to us.
