## Key Features

**Packet Crafting and Sending**: Ostinato allows users to craft and send packets of various protocols, including Ethernet/802.3/LLC SNAP, unicast, multicast, and broadcast traffic. Users have the flexibility to change any packet field of any protocol to any value, enabling customization of packet configurations.

**Packet Editing and Replay**: Users can import and edit PCAP files, replay them, and save them back. The tool supports IMIX (Internet Mix) traffic, allowing users to simulate a mixture of different traffic types.

**Interface and Stream Statistics**: Ostinato provides extensive interface-level receive/transmit/error statistics and rates, enabling real-time network monitoring and measurement. Users can also access per-stream statistics for accurate and granular packet loss measurement.

**Device Emulation**: Ostinato offers network device emulation for multiple IPv4/IPv6 hosts, aiding in network traffic simulation. This feature includes ARP and ICMP emulation, allowing users to simulate multiple hosts and their interactions.

**Multi-User Support**: Ostinato supports multiple users sharing ports on the same host, facilitating collaboration and resource sharing.
