Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Packet Tracer is a very effective program that I have been using for nearly 4 years . We had an issue, we had to set up a physical training center containing Cisco products, but the cost was very high, the situation has become very easy with the presence of Packet Tracer, where we can design practical labs with all their contents of routers, switches, wired and wireless communication devices, all without financial costs, it's great

Pros

  • It contains most of Cisco's products in one place without the need to use a third party
  • You can design and implement a complete network with all settings and export the configuration file
  • Track and monitor connection status and data traffic

Cons

  • Improve editing tools for writing on the workspace
  • Add tools to help integrate with network analysis programs
  • Add features to enable the program to access the Internet

Most Important Features

  • The program is completely free
  • The ability to share the design file with a group
  • Updates are continuous, both for devices and for the operating system

Return on Investment

  • Improving group skills through practical applications
  • Solve some problems related to network design
  • The task can be solved at home, you don't have to be in the toffice
