Pagemodo makes it really easy for beginner users to create custom tabs on Facebook. It allowed multiple users with a variety of skillsets to make adjustments to the pages as they saw fit.
The templates offered had a wide variety. It allowed us to choose templates that work cohesively so the entire page adhered to our brand.
Interconnectivity with other sites was great - it allowed us to drive Facebook Page visitors to the website and LinkedIn pages.
Cons
For advanced users, it would have been nicer to have more custom HTML options. This area seemed to not interact so well once published.
It would be great to be able to manipulate templates more. For example changing the size of the photos and a drag drop feature to create your own custom template.

If you don't have a lot of time or expertise in custom tab creation, Pagemodo offers a quick and easy solution. Custom templates are great to manipulate to meet your individual needs.

I gave Pagemodo a solid try but it just wasn't a good tool. There are a lot of great alternatives out there. I deactivated our Pagemodo account and began using ShortStack to achieve our goal. I cannot say enough GOOD things about ShortStack!

Pagemodo provides templates for you to use when making a Facebook contest or giveaway. A lot of other programs require you to enter a coded template or form. Simply customize the pictures and description of your contest/giveaway and Pagemodo does the rest!
Pagemodo is extremely easy to use and makes it simple for you to track any contest or giveaway entries. It notifies you when you have received a new entry and then allows you to export all data onto an Excel sheet once the contest is over.
Cons
The types of user engagement activities you can perform with Pagemodo are very limited. It seems to be specifically designed for either contests/giveaways/special promotions/discount codes you'd like to share with your customers. So if I wanted to host a poll for my Facebook fans, I wouldn't be able to do so through Pagemodo.
Pagemodo doesn't accommodate the various types of social media channels. It's specifically designed for Facebook and can really only be used through that. If your goal isn't to attract new Facebook followers or engage the followers you already have, then Pagemodo isn't for you.
Although it's nice that Pagemodo already has pre-made templates, it somewhat limits your ability to customize your forms or tabs.
