You don't need to know a lick of programming to scrape with PhantomBuster
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use PhantomBuster to build our list of leads. We have used sales intelligence tools, and these are very helpful, but not everyone knows they need our services. People that need our services are not always looking for them, so we needed a tool that could feed our colder outreach. PhantomBuster comes already with some awesome scrape templates and we use the Google Maps feature. This allows us to pinpoint prospects that could use advanced maps services and enter them into targeted email campaigns. It is one of our most important prospecting tools.
Pros
- Easy to use
- Great templates
- Very smart interface
Cons
- Better exporting and storage
- Use of AI for separating fields
- Has an AI migrator for Hubspot, but not other CRM's
Likelihood to Recommend
PhantomBuster is not a business intelligence tool, and should not be used with that expectation. It's made to scrape data, making it easy for those less tech-savy or scraping data from searches. It's up to the user to determine what you get out of this tool. We used two templates mostly, the Linkedin search scraper, and the Google Maps scraper. We are sponsors of several business organizations, so we would use the sales navigator filter to pull people who are also part of those groups as their members. The Google Maps template as I explained previously was fundamental to push our Google Business Profile consulting. As an example, if you're looking to scrape contact data from a chamber of commerce directory, this is the perfect tool.
