Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our department is using Pics.io to manage our University logo and ancillary branding materials. This has allowed us to replace an antiquated in house option that had been unsupported. We can now allow vendors to access these assets ensuring they are working with the latest approved versions. Users can also convert files on the fly to minimize the chance of downloading the correct assets.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you are looking for an affordable solution for logos, photos or videos this is one of the best solutions we have found. It handles several file types and provides a more affordable option than other DAM services. If you are looking for an enterprise DAM solution this is probably not what you are looking for but it doesn't pretend to be that.
