PledgeAthon is a fundraising platform built specifically for pledge-based events such as Walk-a-thons, Read-a-thons, and Athletic Booster Campaigns. The solution enables organizations to host Branded Campaign Pages, manage participants, and collect both Flat Pledges and Per-Activity Pledges (e.g., per-mile or per-lap).

The platform facilitates Direct Payouts through Stripe Connect Express, ensuring funds are transferred to the organization's connected bank account rather than being held by the vendor. Key capabilities include Automated SMS Reminders, Cash and Check Tracking for consolidated offline reporting, and a Mobile-First Interface for organizers and donors. To maintain security, the system incorporates Fraud Controls such as Donor Cooldowns, Organization-Level Circuit Breakers, and a 48-Hour Transfer Hold on initial releases.

According to the developer, the platform charges no Platform Fees or Monthly Fees. Payment processing is managed at the standard Stripe Rate (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). Through the TipShare Program, PledgeAthon shares 10% of net donor tip proceeds back with the host organization as incremental revenue.
