Awesome framework in the dashboarding area
We use Plotly to help with the creation of web applications for both our intranet page and outward-facing website.

- Can still get by with knowledge of only python
- A bit of a learning curve
- While the interface in intuitive, it takes getting used to at first
- Difficult to create more complex application layouts
- Major cloud provider support
- Can be supported on any server that supports Flask apps

Quick visualization of big data.
I used Plotly for a course I was taking at UC Berkeley that required data visualization and plots. I was looking at options and came across Plotly and tried it.
- Simple codes to create quick graphs.
- Nice exportable figures.
- Good for the initial exploratory analysis of the data.
- Difficult to set up.
- Steep learning curve.
- lot of codes to write.
- Options for advanced data analytics.
- It is customizable but I have not tried that feature.
- Nice features.

Easiest way to create dashboard in Python.
Plotly Dash covers all my data analysis visualization work. We use it to create interactive and updatable graphs and are very easy to use if I am working with a large amount of data set. It can be used to quickly generate reports and you can convert JSON data to graphs right from the website.

- It has a vast range of customization options, fonts, styles, etc.
- You can create dashboard with very easy and quickly methods.
- It will great if the callbacks could be more dynamic.
- If the interactive labels will be customizable then it will good.
- All the other features in this software is good.
- You can build and deploy analytic web apps using Python, R and Julia.
- It creates really beautiful graphs and charts.
