What is Plural?

A self-hosted Kubernetes fleet management platform used to manage and orchestrate Kubernetes clusters from a single interface. It can be used by developers to build and maintain production-ready applications on Kubernetes, with no management overhead.

Plural’s self-service automation simplifies the integration and deployment of code changes across Kubernetes clusters by leveraging pull requests (PRs) as triggers for automated release pipelines. With sequential GitOps-driven deployments across development, staging, and production, Plural automates the release process while maintaining a comprehensive audit trail in Git. Integrated quality checks, including automated testing, linting, and security scanning, ensure that only high-quality, compliant code reaches production.

Plural integrates with LLMs to enable complex automation within the realm of GitOps ordinary deterministic methods struggle to get right. This feature includes:
  • running root cause analysis on failing kubernetes services, using a hand-tailored evidence graph Plural extracts from its own fleet control plane.
  • using AI troubleshooting insights to autogenerate fix prs by introspecting Plural's own GitOps and IaC engines
  • using AI code generation to generate PRs for scaling recommendations from our Kubecost integration
  • "Explain with AI" and chat feature to explain any complex kubernetes object in the system to reduce Platform engineering support burden from app developers still new to kubernetes.

Plural offers a unified, "single pane of glass" interface for an entire Kubernetes fleet. From resource monitoring to log viewing, this dashboard aims to ensure efficient and effective Kubernetes operations.
