Use Cases and Deployment Scope

With ProductPlan it has been possible to manage several projects simultaneously without losing sight of the direction which should be completed. This software allows the leaders of each or several projects to have better control in monitoring the assigned tasks and thus be able to know the trend in which each project is developing. ProductPlan has been well received within almost the entire company, as there are other departments that prefer to use other platforms to manage projects. ProductPlan makes all work within the company more agile and simple, allowing working time to be more valued and without any setbacks.

Pros

I like that I can share a view of the entire roadmap, making it easier to read and also showing the trajectory of a project without having to access the platform.
The customization of the roadmap is extremely simple, being able to choose between colors and fonts to differentiate each work task within a project.
I like that I can work with several route sheets at the same time, allowing you to have a great simultaneous work and thus speed up the work process.
The view of the platform is very simple and attractive, which helps to make it easier to monitor the work being done.

Cons

It is a little short of tutorials, I know that the platform is very easy to use but sometimes there are little things that I had not understood.
The output of the route sheets is very limited, I would prefer that this could be customized.
There are times that there is a little space between the bars of the roadmap, I would like this to be automatically coupled and thus have no errors between dates or time when a task will be performed after completing another.

Likelihood to Recommend

With ProductPlan you have the ability to manage a project with a totally objective simplicity, it is enough to have a few tasks, organize them, assign the work team that will be performing the respective tasks, customize the route and that's it. ProductPlan is rich in features to get a good project management without having a great learning curve to be able to use this platform, big or small, whether it is very deep or with basic tasks.

Product Plan is used for managing all of the features across all Product teams. It allows everyone to collaborate together on the product roadmap.

Pros

Easy to create new bars.
Easy to link to Jira.
Simple UI.

Cons

None so far.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

This platform was used to check the collaboration in the team, and it worked. It has lead to better communication and effective working of teammates that leads to greater efficiency and better project management and completion. So we liked it a lot and now we use it for team leading and effective teamwork.

Pros

This helps you create effective communication between employees.
Helps you in building roadmaps for the product and work on them later on.
Helps you in better focus and leads you out of distraction by better collaboration.

Cons

I think its price is a bit high.
It should provide workflow management as well.
It has got so many features that it gets hard to understand.

This platform allows you to create roadmaps for the projects which helps you by taking the ideas out of your mind. This can also integrate easily with other software like Jira which is a plus. This assists you in your work and allows better focus which leads to an ultimate great working environment.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

ProductPlan is used by our Product Management team with a little support from the Tech team. The tool is specifically built for visualizing and managing your road map better. For Product teams with a size greater than 5, this tool allows everyone to think and strategize together. Apart from road maps, it follows agile methodologies and has a good foundation for idea management.

Pros

Excellent road-mapping and visualization.
Can directly sync to/from JIRA.
Building a road map is very intuitive because of the in-app tutorial.

Cons

Dragging and dropping is not effective.
Absence of rollback feature.
Absence of offline mode.

Likelihood to Recommend

ProductPlan is well suited if your Product team size is greater than 5. In that case, communication becomes a strong suit to grow. ProductPlan gives each member the idea of future, how well it is aligned with the overall strategy. It allows everyone to be on the same page. But, for newborn product team, this tool might overdo the things and will take efforts which could be useful somewhere else.
