What is Quantem?

Quantem is a cross-platform Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform for managing Android, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Windows, and Linux devices from a central dashboard. IT teams can manage the device lifecycle from enrollment and provisioning through policy enforcement, application deployment, updates, support, and retirement. The platform supports corporate devices, BYOD programs, rugged and field devices, kiosks, and digital signage.

Fleet administration and enrollment
The dashboard centralizes device inventory, applications, content, policies, security controls, compliance status, and reporting. Devices can be organized into groups and subgroups based on criteria such as department, location, or business unit, allowing administrators to apply configurations and policies in bulk.

Supported enrollment options include Android Zero-Touch Enrollment, QR codes, Apple Business Manager Automated Device Enrollment, browser-based enrollment, and IMEI- or serial-number registration.

Security and policy management
Administrators can configure password requirements, authentication settings, lockout rules, and device restrictions. Available controls cover device capabilities such as cameras, screenshots, USB transfers, Bluetooth sharing, AirDrop, cloud backups, network access, and operating-system settings.

Quantem also supports platform encryption controls such as File-Based Encryption, BitLocker, and FileVault. IT teams can distribute and renew certificates for access to Wi-Fi, VPNs, applications, and other corporate resources. Browser controls, website restrictions, custom configuration payloads, selective data removal, full remote wipe, and factory-reset restrictions on supported devices provide additional policy options.

Application, content, and update management
IT teams can distribute, configure, update, block, and remove public and private applications. Supported sources include Google Play, Apple’s App Store, progressive web applications, and enterprise application catalogs. Administrators can create app packages, stage or schedule updates, configure managed applications, and monitor app usage.

Content management tools distribute documents, presentations, images, videos, and other business files to managed devices. Quantem also provides centralized operating-system, security, software, and driver update management, including maintenance-window scheduling and update-status reporting.

Kiosk, BYOD, and shared devices
Single-app and multi-app kiosk modes restrict smartphones, tablets, rugged devices, televisions, and other supported endpoints to approved applications and settings. These controls can be used for frontline work, retail systems, self-service devices, and digital signage.

For BYOD deployments, work profiles separate corporate applications and data from personal content. Administrators can apply ownership-based policies and selectively remove business data without wiping the employee’s personal information. Shared-device management can apply user-specific applications, policies, and permissions when different users access the same endpoint.

Automation and remote operations
Scheduled workflows, policy-based actions, custom scripts, and custom payloads help automate configuration and maintenance tasks. Remote troubleshooting allows support teams to diagnose device problems and, where supported, view device screens without requiring physical access.

Location tracking and geofencing provide visibility into managed devices and can generate alerts when a device enters or leaves a designated area. Reporting covers device health, compliance, application usage, screen time, operating-system versions, update status, location, and other fleet activity.
