R1Soft Server Backup Manager (SBM) gives service providers a server-friendly solution that eliminates the pains of running traditional backups. Its Continuous Data Protection™ technology enables users to run backups as frequently as every 15 minutes, with no impact on server performance.

• Continuous Data Protection - Provides an advantage over traditional file backups, including speed of operations, the performance of backups, and a reduction in disk and network I/O.

• Block-based Backups - Block-level backups bypass file systems and read directly from the disk or volume, providing a performance-friendly backup regardless of the number of files.
• Long-Term Data Archiving - Recovery points can be replicated to off-site storage using Amazon Glacier or FTP/FTPS or restored from the Server Backup Manager user interface.
• Disk Safe Verification - Data monitoring to ensure it’s safe from corruption. Disk Safe Verification can be scheduled to run periodically or on-demand detecting and alerting you in the event of corruption.
• Control Panel Interface - Secure local authentication of users. Enables user self-service backup and restore. Integrates with popular Linux Control Panels (cPanel, Plesk, InterWorx, etc).
• Data Retention Policies - A replication goal can be defined (for example, every 15 minutes) as well as how many recovery points to retain. Old recovery points are automatically merged, and their storage is recycled.
• Multi-Platform Support - SBM supports physical and virtual servers running Microsoft® Windows®, variants of Linux, and other virtualization platforms, including VMWare, and Citrix XenServer.
• Quick Restore - Recover large file systems or entire servers fast with Bare-Metal Restore. Restore even while a backup job is running.
• AES-256 Encryption - AES-256 Disk Safe Encryption can be enabled at the time of the creation of Disk Safes for backup data, aiding in the protection of data stored in the backup server and over the network.
• Multi-Tenancy - SBM meets the needs of both Enterprise and Provider environments, allowing access only to administrators, group-based administrators, multi-tenant, tiered multi-tenant, or a custom configuration.
• Self-Service MySQL Restore - cPanel users can restore their MySQL database as a self-service whenever the need arises, eliminating delays and unnecessary expenses for the hosting provider.
• Site-to-Site Replication - Hosting providers gain access to a simple means of replicating backup data across SBM servers, regardless of their geographic location.
