What is ReSpark?
ReSpark is a Waste Management platform developed specifically for scrap metal recyclers. It connects yard operations, logistics, finance, inventory, maintenance, and reporting so recyclers can manage material from scale intake through processing, sale, shipment, and settlement. Yard operations
ReSpark supports scale ticketing, purchasing, sales orders, pricing, inspections, contracts, compliance documentation, brokerage, and reporting. Multi-location operators can apply centralized price lists and permissions while maintaining yard-level workflows.
Inventory and material tracking
Its Inventory Management capabilities track material from intake and grading through work in progress, regrading, blending, processing, and finished-goods shipment. Cost, yield, and material traceability data provide inventory visibility across facilities and legal entities.
Logistics and dispatch
ReSpark provides routing, scheduling, load building, container and bin tracking, freight coordination, and multi-leg dispatch. Its Fleet Management capabilities give dispatchers visibility into vehicles, drivers, routes, equipment availability, and material movement. Related maintenance tools support asset records and preventive-service scheduling.
Finance and accounting workflows
Finance functions include invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, settlements, payments, intercompany transactions, reconciliation, and financial reporting. Integrations connect yard activity with accounting products such as QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Xero, and Acumatica.
AI-assisted automation
Optional, role-based AI agents support dispatch, operations, commercial, and finance teams. Documented functions include converting service requests into routes, monitoring incoming loads, identifying operational exceptions, suggesting pricing updates, creating sales orders from purchase orders, drafting invoices, matching payments, and reconciling discrepancies.
ReSpark is cloud-based and supports browser and mobile workflows for yard, office, and field personnel. Shared operational and financial data reduces reliance on separate spreadsheets and manual handoffs while providing current reporting across one or multiple facilities.
