Being the Bridge For the Overseas

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

When working with overseas contractors, you face the issue of constantly having massive delays of their payroll and massive communication gap in terms of IT services. Additionally, when you use multiple tools that requires a vast amount of login information, you run the risk of being locked out due to forgetting the password, or having to breaches of multiple kinds due to mis-inputs. Rippling solve both these by having one umbrella that can have these payrolls be directly for each country at a feasible manner, along with one umbrella system to hold all login informations for each system or software needed.

Pros

  • Really great user interface - everything is not in places that is hard to find, they are straight forward.
  • All in one software portal - every software login that you require can be found quite easily and stored for easy access, so no need to constantly try to remember or reset your password.
  • Easy Implementation - Requires very little training and rolling out doesn't disrupt much.

Cons

  • Less clicks to get to certain areas - though it is easily accessible, there are certain functions you have to click a lot to get to.
  • AI customer service - Not a fan of having to fight through the AI to speak to someone from customer service.

Return on Investment

  • Everyone loves it, I haven't found a single individual who has issues with it that we can't solve

Decent HR and payroll manager for mid sized organizations

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Rippling is an all-in-one HR platform that my organization uses primarily for time and payroll management, with the possibility of exploring future expanded applications (such as hiring and talent management). It provides a pretty intuitive platform from the user side that helps our organization address some very crucial HR and finance functions as a mid-sized organization without a large operations team. The time logging and payroll functions are the primary usage areas for me as an employee.

Pros

  • Payroll and paystub management for employees
  • Timesheet entry and project billing
  • Time off and PTO tracking
  • Human resources trainings and courses

Cons

  • Changing interface is hard to follow
  • Timesheet UX/UI is sometimes glitchy
  • Paystubs display only as PDFs and doesn't allow for more interactive summaries
  • Notification settings are a bit too complex

Return on Investment

  • Helped reduce burden on internal staff
  • Streamlined payroll for finance teams
  • Eased access of documents for employees
