Sage Intacct - My Experience
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We are a construction company so Sage Intacct Construction is our primary accounting software. The business problem that this software addresses is the need for copies of invoices. It is very nice and convenient for us that the software allows us to save copies of the invoices within the program. You would be surprised at the number of times that we need to review previously paid invoices or need copies for the backup for out T&M invoices.
Pros
- Copies of Invoices saved in the program.
- Support is awesome and responds to issue quickly.
Cons
- Voiding an invoice from a previous period is SO cumbersome.
- I don't understand why the job number from the top of the OE Contract screen doesn't automatically enter into the Entry Screen at the bottom of the page. This causes a lot of issues.
- Custom Reports are not that rebust.
Return on Investment
- Modules in Intacct are available to all users, if you want. (as opposed to Sage 300)
