SendFleet

SendFleet is an email sending platform that runs on Amazon SES inside the customer's own AWS account. It automates the SES setup that teams usually do by hand, and gives developers a simple REST API for sending. It is aimed at developers and small teams already on AWS, agencies, and companies with data residency requirements.

Setup and AWS integration

• Connects through one CloudFormation stack that creates a narrowly scoped IAM role, protected by a private ExternalId.
• Checks every AWS region and sends from the one where SES production access is already granted.
• Files the production access request with AWS when the account is still in the SES sandbox.
• Creates and maintains the SES configuration set and SNS topic for delivery tracking, and repairs them if they change.

Delivery visibility

• Email logs with status, timestamps, and bounce and complaint detail, kept for 14 days.
• Message bodies are never stored. Subjects or the entire log can be turned off.
• Signed webhooks for events such as email.delivered, email.bounced and email.complained.

Reputation and cost controls

• Reputation protection with High, Medium or Low settings warns the account owner, then pauses sending before bounce or complaint rates reach the levels where AWS reviews an account.
• Monthly sending caps, live usage for the current month, and a choice of which events the account publishes.

Security and transparency

- Every change SendFleet makes is listed in the dashboard and in the customer's own CloudTrail. Deleting the CloudFormation stack ends access immediately.
