What is Sendmux?

Sendmux provides Autonomous Agents with a dedicated Email Identity. The platform centralizes Inbound Mailboxes, Outbound Sending, Routing, Quotas, Webhooks, and Inbox Events into a unified system, intended to replace the manual integration of disparate sending APIs, mailbox providers, and parsing layers.

AI Agents utilize the solution to receive email in dedicated Mailboxes, process Attachments, and manage message Threads. The system streams inbox activity via Server-Sent Events (SSE). Outbound Sending capabilities include support for SMTP, Gmail OAuth, Outlook OAuth, and vendor-managed Amazon SES. The platform provides Delivery Groups, Weighted Routing, Per-Provider Quotas, Health Checks, and Failover mechanisms.

The solution is intended for AI Agent development teams, Automation Agencies, and SaaS platforms building specialized support, sales, and workflow agents. Sendmux provides access through REST APIs, OpenAPI Specifications, SDKs, a CLI, MCP Tools, and Sendmux Skills.

How To Use

Implementation involves creating a Sendmux Team and establishing an Agent Mailbox using the provided myagent.mx domain or a verified Custom Domain. Outbound Sending is configured by connecting SMTP, Gmail OAuth, Outlook OAuth, or managed Amazon SES. Administrators generate API Keys at the team or mailbox level to facilitate interaction via the API, SDKs, CLI, or MCP Tools. Monitoring of inbox and delivery events is achieved through subscriptions to Webhooks or Server-Sent Events.
