Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use SlickText to send renewal messages to our current association members. Based on the success we have had up to this point, We have plans to expand our use of the software but to this point it has just been for renewals, and those renewal campaigns have been quite successful.

Pros

  • User friendly interface
  • A good resource for making sure we maintain compliance with all the privacy policies
  • The text-to-join feature looks awesome. That is the one we are hoping to get started soon.

Cons

  • Easy to find resources for short codes
  • The current automation is nice for beginners but it's not terribly sophisticated for experienced users
  • Minimal integrations to this point but I'm sure more are on the way

Likelihood to Recommend

Very well suited for those getting started with SMS campaigns. It was easy for everyone on our team to pick up and get going without a lot of training. If you have mobile number lists in the hundreds of thousands I can see how it would be tough to manage with the lists, keywords, etc. I could be wrong as we are not in that space but that would be my assumption.
