we are using this to monitor every aspects of our organisation related to business or operation issues. It detect and resolves issues automatically. It is easy to integrate or implement in the existing infrastructure. It has best in segment monitoring tools. It gives the alerts if any issue occur. It is very beneficial for our IT department. It ensure security and there is no downtime of our existing application. Also we can add indicators for detecting the issues.

Pros

Gives the clear view of any slowness or issues on the dashboard.
It is robust, transparent and scalable.
Provide very accurate response.

Cons

Pricing is high needs to be pocket friendly.
Database monitoring is getting slow sometimes when data is huge or complex.

Splunk AppDynamics is our primary tool for monitoring the applications and all the servers and also it analyses the application load and traffic requests to give us clean picture of end to end flow of application so with this all our servers will be actively monitored and we get alerts if anything crosses threashould value apart from this we track the application user requests and monitoring the performance of a complex system also it provides clear vision of the full architecture including the communication/flow between different services part of the solution

For Monitoring purpose definitely I would suggest this as it stand in top class monitoring view and apart from the live application monitoring is also it has very good visualisation and its has both machine agent and app agent which helps monitoring both servers and applications differently and very efficient way and we get all back tracked data as well incase if we need it for forecasting also

We are using the application performance management tool from last 2 years. It is really helpful for us to monitoring the application as well as infrastructure. It detects the issues related to the performance and immediately alert us to fix the things on time or on priority. It has AI/ML capabilities that resolves issue quickly and efficiently. It optimize the performance and efficiency of the application.

Also we are scaling our organization to grow, we think to expand use of app dynamics to include more applications and heavy integration with our monitoring tools.

In our scenario we can utilize AppDynamics to ensure that applications comply with performance standards and regulatory requirements. it helps us in audit and compliance check. we can also track performance across multiple services and identify latency issues ensure that the application runs smoothly and meets regulatory compliance. I personally rarely find it less appropriate but the only place I want it improving is when during the high traffic events during load testing to understand how the application performs under stress and identify potential failure points before the events.
