The Org helps organize your company.
I started using The Org to create an Org chart for my business. I wanted to see a top-level view of my company and what roles need to be filled, and where future bottlenecks may occur. I honestly haven't used it in a while because, for a small company, I found other software just as useful for Org Mapping (mind mapping software or even draw.io). But recently, I went back to it because I forgot that it also has the ability to describe an open position and market it differently because candidates can see exactly who they will be working with and how they will fit into the company. I have not seen this feature in other software, and I've had trouble recruiting for a position lately, so I decided to go back and try this feature.
- Create Org Charts.
- Market open positions.
- View organizational bottlenecks.
- Be able to post jobs to job boards.
- Viewing org charts.
- Create employee profiles.
- No negative impact noted.
I haven't tried any other software similar to The Org, There are mindmaps and other mapping software, but you cant share employee profiles like you can with this software.

Easy to use and Simple Product
The Org was used at our organization to make a clear and concise chart of various departments, department leads, and executives. It's useful for everyone to be able to see who reports to whom.

The Org was our first Org Chart software. We also have what amounts to an org chart in Justworks but it isn't laid out as cleanly or as plainly. Before using The Org, the org charting was a bit scattered and many people had problems with chain of command questions.
