Trimble Connect for Augmented Reality
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Trimble Connect for storing of the IFC (.ifc) files that are then later used to create the QR codes for Augmented Reality using Trimble's AR software called SiteVision. We use Augmentation for Architectural visualization and visualizing pre MEPF installation and checking post MEPF installation. It is utilised mainly by our internal Architectural team for visualization and the EPC and the SIte execution team assited by my team that is the BIM team.

- Issues should be enhanced
- QR code generation is heavy as sometimes it simply does not show the tool option. And appears after extensive refreshing.
- More formats read for Augmented Reality as it will extend the use across platforms

- Reduced rework of MEPF installation by at least 50%
- Minimized the cutout mismatches in RCC for services
- Helped visualize accuracy at 1:1 scale
