We create with Cura and our Ultimaker S3 and S5 prototy parts for checking the complete process flow for our customer. The business of our customer is automotiv. With this software and the Ultimaker 3d printer our customer have verry fast a part that has the same geometry as the serial part in the future. It is also verry usually for they construction area for construction the serial tools.

  • sometimes the grafic is a litte bit hard to see for example the collor silver
  • support free areas are not so easy to define
  • cost estimation fpr the parts
Cura is well suited with complex parts in the different business of our customers. For example Automotiv or mechanical engineering. The drag and drop feature is simple and verry fast. The import of .step. files doesen`t work without plug in. We create always a .stl file wit our CAD software at the first.
