Vence

Vence's platform is a virtual fencing management system for cattle and livestock. A new prototype was developed consisting of GPS, PDA, wireless networking and a sound amplifier. Using the GPS, the animals location could be verified and then controlled relative to the fence boundary using algorithms the team developed.


The system controls cattle movement, manage grazing, create virtual fences to dictate grazing behavior, and monitor animal wellbeing. The platform uses advanced GPS tracking to monitor the location of animals within pastures or grazing areas using mobile devices running Android or iOS operating system. By the smartphone or web app, users can create virtual boundary/virtual fence line anywhere on their property. Vence can provide static virtual boundaries to dictate grazing behavior or specific protected areas/waterways.

The app monitors the well-being of your animals, collecting data from sensors in our lightweight devices worn by livestock.
