Learning Record Store (LRS): Veracity Learning is an official xAPI-Conformant LRS for storing and retrieving xAPI statements. It supports all types of xAPI data, including statement signatures, binary attachments, and document stores. Users can import data from other LRSs, forward statements, or export data from Veracity Learning.

Learning Analytics Platform: Veracity Learning provides graphing and reporting tools to visualize data and detect trends. Default dashboards offer insights from the first xAPI statements. Users can create custom dashboards using the Chart Builder, Advanced Graph Query tools, and pre-configured widgets. The platform supports common xAPI profiles, enhancing analytics capabilities.

Learning Portal: Veracity Learning supports basic Learning Management System (LMS) use cases for managing users, classes, and courses. Administrators and instructors can upload and organize content, create classes and courses, and provide learners with a user-friendly interface.

Analytics & Dashboards: Veracity Learning offers default views and dashboards. Users can create custom dashboards using pre-configured widgets, the Chart Builder, and Advanced Graph Query tools. Multiple dashboard interfaces can be created for different roles or permissions. Visualizations can be exported as live graphs and embedded in external applications.

Integrate & Embed: Veracity Learning's dashboards can be easily shared or integrated into other sites or applications. Users can publish custom dashboards and individual graphs as secure, embeddable links. Dashboards can be embedded in external applications to provide real-time insights.

Import & Export Data: Veracity Learning supports importing and exporting data in various formats, including CSV, JSON, and data dumps via URL. Data can be exported to different formats or entire binary database exports. The platform also allows the ingestion of xAPI data from other sources.

Advanced Queries & API: Veracity Learning offers a powerful advanced search API and a simplified query language (VQL) for querying and aggregating xAPI data. The Advanced Graph Query Tool allows real-time testing of advanced queries. An LRS API is provided to manage data objects and launch content.

Multiple LRS Instances: Veracity Learning's multi-tenant architecture allows the creation of multiple LRS instances for different testing environments, hosting, or data integration strategies. Each LRS instance has separate keys, analytics, and databases, enabling separation of operations or purposes.

The LRS is built as a stateless web server that can be horizontally scaled with a load balancer and a DNS Round Robin configuration. Database indices are optimized, and the platform can scale up to a multi-node database cluster.

xAPI Tools: Veracity Learning includes tools for xAPI development efforts. The xAPI Statement Validator checks for JSON object conformance. The open-source xAPI Lab Tool helps build valid statements and test interactions with the LRS. The xAPI Statement Generator randomly generates syntactically valid xAPI statements for evaluation.

Plug-In Architecture: Veracity Learning provides a plug-in architecture for creating custom integrations or extending LRS functionality. Plug-ins can create new features, augment behaviors, integrate the LRS with other tools, or extend the user interface and add analytics capabilities.
