Our organization uses Vercel for website and lambda hosting. They provide us with infrastructure for hosting our multitude of websites & platforms, and their serverless systems allow us to deploy changes quickly. We've configured automatic deploys to sync changes from GitHub onto our production websites. We also use Vercel for some DNS management on a few of our domains.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Vercel, and while their business offering is great, it's also worth touching on their free plan. Their free plan allows me to tinker with web development in my free time without having to worry about paying for a costly linux box. I just link a GitHub repository and it's done!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Its speed at which a static site can be deployed. It also comes with a number of pre-built templates to help you get your site up and running quickly. You don't have to worry about server deployment or hosting; simply commit your code to version control, and Vercel will run an auto-build. In terms of available services, the hobby (free tier) plan is quite generous.

Pros

  • Deploy Site
  • Integrate Giithub
  • Functions to use at scale and free

Cons

  • Interface Revamp
  • Cost reduction

As a result, there are no specific drawbacks, but if it supports Python applications, one can deploy even dynamic applications on Vercel without having to look for another hosting platform. I've used it to host one of my documentation websites. I edited and deployed the documentation using the pre-built template. It was very quick because all I had to do was enter the data; no coding was required.
