Verisoul
What is Verisoul?
Verisoul is a fake account prevention platform for applications that need to identify fake accounts, automated traffic, duplicate users, and high-risk activity during signup, login, and sensitive account actions. It combines device, browser, network, behavioral, email, phone, and identity signals to produce risk decisions and support fraud-prevention workflows.
Verisoul also supports Bot Mitigation by detecting automated browsers, virtual machines, emulators, and other indicators of non-human traffic. Its Identity Verification and Account Takeover Prevention functions add identity checks and login-risk signals where an application requires more confidence in a user’s identity or account activity.
Key Capabilities
- Device fingerprinting and device risk: Verisoul collects device, browser, and network signals to identify spoofed, virtualized, emulated, or automated environments. Its device-fingerprinting approach links accounts probabilistically rather than relying on a single static device identifier.
- Account linking and multi-account detection: The platform maps potential connections among accounts using browser, device, network, and email signals. Teams can review linked-account networks and use configurable thresholds to identify duplicate accounts, promotional abuse, account sharing, or collusion.
- Bot and network detection: Verisoul detects headless browsers, automation frameworks, proxies, virtual private networks (VPNs), location spoofing, and other signals associated with bots and fraudulent access attempts.
- Identity workflows: Email and phone intelligence assess disposable, high-risk, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), or burner contact details. Optional identity-document and selfie checks can validate a person and identify repeat faces or session anomalies.
- Rules and investigation tools: A dashboard provides user investigation, reporting, and no-code decision rules based on platform signals, scores, and custom fields. AI Fraud Agents can investigate accounts and summarize relevant data for fraud teams.
- Developer integration: Verisoul provides a client software development kit (SDK) and backend application programming interface (API) for collecting signals, retrieving risk decisions, and incorporating those decisions into an application’s existing workflows.
Audience & Use Cases
- Audience: Trust and safety, fraud, risk, operations, and product teams at consumer applications, marketplaces, financial-services platforms, gaming services, and research or survey platforms.
- Use cases: Blocking fake registrations and repeat signups; preventing free-trial and promotion abuse; detecting bots and proxy-based evasion; identifying account sharing or takeover attempts; and routing higher-risk users to additional identity checks.
Technical Specifications
- Decisioning: Verisoul can return real, suspicious, or fake decisions, along with risk scores and risk flags for supported verification workflows.
- Configuration: Teams can define risk thresholds and no-code rules without changing application code.
- Account-link evidence: Browser matches, device matches, network matches, and normalized-email matches contribute different levels of confidence to multi-accounting assessments.
