What is Visma e-conomic?
e-conomic, from Visma (acquired 2015) is a complete online accounting system which is specially developed for small and medium-sized companies, from the company of the same name in Copenhagen, Denmark. With more than 60,000 companies as customers worldwide, e-conomic is the largest online accounting system in Europe. e-conomic contains General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Sales modules, and more features (bank reconciliation, controlled/restricted user access, integration with MS Excel, addons, etc.). It supports multiple currencies and languages, and has an API for added functionality.
The smaller price tier, called simply "Small" is priced at about $35-40 per month and supports 4000 transactions per year. The Standard pack, at almost $70 supports unlimited transactions. A user can pay the Small rate until 4000 transactions are exceeded, then pay the Standard rate (something like moving into the next tax bracket). For about $90 each inventory management and project level accounting can be added.
