Volt Active Data (formerly VoltDB)

Volt Active Data (formerly VoltDB) is a distributed, In-Memory Database that runs ACID transactions at high throughput on commodity servers. It is a NewSQL relational database: data is accessed with SQL and processed through stored procedures. Volt positions the platform as a real-time decisioning layer, where each decision is evaluated against current state and enforced consistently under load.
