VyOS

The VyOS Platform allows everyone to build their own network OS. VyOS is open-source, and comes with a toolchain that allows building custom images and an API that allows integrating new software into them as if they were always a part of VyOS — fully integrated into the CLI and the configuration.

VyOS can be adapted to run in custom environments, on custom hardware, or to include new components into it, whether existing applications or in-house software.

VyOS provides features that include VPN protocols from plain IPsec to DMVPN, OpenVPN, and Wireguard; dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS); firewall, NAT, DHCP servers and relays, and web proxy. It supports a wide range of platforms, from small boxed to big servers, virtual machines in VMware, KVM, Xen, and Microsoft Hyper-V, and all major clouds: Amazon EC2, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle cloud.
