Willie

Willie is a centralized Water Management platform designed for organizations managing water consumption across construction, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, and retail sectors.

Most organizations still manage water using monthly manual meter readings, disparate spreadsheets, and reactive leak repairs. Willie replaces this fragmented approach with a unified system consisting of a non-intrusive smart meter module and a SaaS (Software as a Service) management platform.

THE WILLIE SMART METER

Willie's hardware module attaches to existing pulse-output meters in under five minutes, requiring no plumbing, electrical modifications, or specialist assistance. The module transmits consumption data every 15 minutes via LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network), NB-IoT (Narrowband Internet of Things), or 4G networks. It features a battery life rated for up to 10 years and an IP68 (Ingress Protection 68) waterproof rating.

THE WILLIE PLATFORM

The SaaS dashboard centralizes data from all monitored sites in real time. Key features include:

• Real-Time Alerts: Triggers notifications for leaks, abnormal consumption patterns, overnight anomalies, and drought restrictions.
• Compliance Reporting: Streamlines the generation of compliance reports and documentation for frameworks such as CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), PSH, and DREAL.
• Multi-Site Dashboards: Displays customizable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and budget tracking across multiple locations.
• Consumption Analysis: Utilizes predictive analytics and automated modeling to identify consumption drifts and anomalous patterns.

According to the developer, the platform becomes operational within 14 days. The onboarding process includes an initial audit of metering infrastructure, plug-and-play installation, and platform configuration, with no disruption to ongoing operations. A dedicated customer success manager supports customer teams throughout deployment.

The vendor states that the platform is deployed across more than 150 sites, with users in construction (Eiffage, Vicat, Eqiom), hospitality (Accor), healthcare (DomusVi), and industrial manufacturing (Saint-Gobain, SVR).
