We use Xactly to track and manage all aspects of commissions including commissionable earnings, payout history and pending earnings. The systems also allows individuals to view their commission term sheets as electronically signed documents, plus evaluate where they are against revenue targets and their on term commission numbers which allows them to evaluate their on target commission rates.

We use Xactly regularly to review sales and incentive compensation. Personally, I find the Xactly platform to be very intuitive, easy to navigate, and simple to understand. The platform has good reporting tools and the interface makes it clear where to navigate for the actions I need to take. Document management is also straightforward in Xactly. It is simple to review and acknowledge documents and policies.

Xaclty allows you to see monthly sales quite accurately, and updates are frequent, even daily. Thanks to this application, I know exactly where I stand in relation to my sales goals, which is invaluable.
Furthermore, the site is user-friendly; even beginners should be able to navigate it without any problems.

I highly recommend it.

I use to check my incentives, the plans and the details of every month and every quarter, it will tell me what is the upcoming payment looks like and what are my targets. It really helps to grow my visibility how we are doing in my region in terms of sales and the margins.

Xactly is how we keep track of our sales/commission. This software is the most important tool we use, it's the reason we come to work (to get paid). I find that it's user-friendly, easy to understand and an overall great software to help us manage commissions. I would recommend!

The software is well-suited when it comes to tracking and monitoring your commission estimates. It's an easy, user-friendly way to understand what sales went through, and what sales disappeared. I think it could also be improved by showing what changed. So if I log in one day and I have a sale and the next day that's gone. I think an updated running log on what changed is important, even what's been added, like if I log in, show me like plus, you know, 5,000 in sales or something like that.

im working as a sdr in motive and we use Xactly to calculate our monthly incentives and see how much we have earned. The problems it addresses are that if we didn't use it then we would not know how much is our company paying us in incentives and how much commissions have we earned for the month, so i think its pretty helpful and also helps us with transparency cause our company does not tell us how much commissions we have earned. That is also the scope of our work with incentives and commissions

We use Xactly to manage the sales incentive process from new employee draws (guarantees), revenue tracking to targets, calculation of the payments, approval of those payments and reporting to finance and HR. Approximately 1,200 employees' sales incentives are handled completely through Xactly and we are working to convert another division of an additional 300 employees to the process as well.

Xactly has helped us recognize where our sales incentive plans are overly complicated and find ways to make them more functional and easy-to-understand for the sales reps who are expected to be motivated by them. Having data in Xactly allows us to more quickly identify outliers and communicate potential challenges to our stakeholders. Xactly also has reduced the number of errors in the incentive process (from quota and credit data received to getting those payments to payroll) and reduced the amount of time it takes to do that. It has also allowed us to make sure consistent practices are being used across 100+ sites in the US and Canada. My biggest complaints about Xactly are about the navigation within various objects - sometimes it can be time-consuming to switch between periods (especially in different years) and that can be frustrating. We're still figuring out the new reporting tools, but I see the value in the newly released tools.

the data pull and representation is accurate
the app runs relatively quickly
easy enough to find what I need to find

Cons

the GUI definitely needs improvement, it seems to be from 2010
I would like to see a mobile app, and perhaps even the ability to set up alerts and such for quota attainment

I love this App because it helps me stay ahead of my goals, both the ones I am responsible for and the ones I set for myself. This App helps me stay on target and shows me the exact commission dollars I will earn if I achieve my goals.
