I switched to zHealth in 2020, who knew what that year would bring. Out of twenty years of owning my own chiropractic office, zHealth is one of the best business decisions I have made. zHealth product is accurate, efficient, and offers more options than other electronic health record platforms, and for a lower monthly fee! Switching from one platform to another is always tedious and, frankly, costly. So I really needed to be sure it was a good move. I was extremely dissatisfied with the performance of the EHR system I had been using. Randomly, the system would completely erase an hour of my patient data and that company would gaslight me when I complained. The customer service, technical help, and training at zHealth are far superior than any other EHR service out there. Because they built their platform after many tech advancements were available, the product is far superior to any of the others. I have used EHR of the two biggest companies and a smaller one. I tell my colleagues often, the switch to zHealth is worth every penny.
Pros
- Load up speed from one screen to another is fast
- Data dissemination from one entry to other points of data is thorough.
- It communicates directly with the clearing house, so I know within 24 hours if my claim was accepted and, if denied, why the clearing house or insurance company denied it.
- I can input blocks of EOB's.
- Batching groups of claims and sending in three simple clicks.
Cons
- I would like to see direct links to Availity, Optum, and ASHlink.
- I would like more options on the type of appointment when I schedule.
Likelihood to Recommend
zHealth is perfect for new practitioners. Even if the doctor is not billing insurance companies, having all the patient information and billing data in one organized place is more valuable than a new doctor may realize. zHealth is also helpful in choosing the diagnosis codes. They have training, if you want it, on a regular basis. You also have access to easy step-by-step instructions on platform usage. zHealth will actually respond quickly to client questions. They are always polite and professional. An established doctor's office has to take into consideration, other than demographics, the data transfer. No platform has a system to extract the SOAP notes. It is a bone of contention for me for all the EHR software/platforms.
