Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Zoho WorkDrive for could storage solutions. It is part of a series of other Zoho products that we use in our organization. Zoho is our main cloud storage platform where we store all our shared documents for easier collaboration, security and efficiency within the organization. So instead of storing documents on the local server/ local PC's, Zoho WorkDrive enables us to access and share the documents easily and securely. So security, efficiency and easier collaboration are the main problems that Zoho WorkDrive has helped us solve.

Pros

It is every easy to share documents/ files using Zoho WorkDrive
Zoho WorkDrive is far much cheaper than similar solutions, like OneDrive/ Google Workspace but still gives much more storage than those
The support from the Zoho WorkDrive team is very solid, and always able to respond within minutes

Cons

Based on experience, the way links to a file/ document are shared on Zoho WorkDrive is not very intuitive compared to Google Workspace/ MS OneDrive. It would be great to improve on this feature to make sharing documents really easy and intuitive.
At times files cannot be opened from the desktop app, especially when one is not connected to the internet.

Zoho WorkDrive is probably the best for small organizations because of its affordability and the easy of setting up. Zoho is very well suited for facilitating the sharing of documents securely to allow for efficient collaboration. It is also supported by enterprise grade security, making it well suited for storing and sharing documents securely.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for organization and our primary CRM. It's helpful to have all of our client and vendor emails, phone numbers and addresses in one place. We continually update our database and can have multiple users accessing the same information in the same place. We can even make phone calls directly through Zoho WorkDrive and capture the duration of the call, who made the call and when the call was placed.

Pros

Fantastic CRM for organization.
Great to have transparency of who is sending emails.
Also great transparency to make sure my team is working hard.

Cons

I wish the contacts section would expand to 100 instead of only showing 10 contacts and then needing to click on an arrow to bring up the next 10 results.
Telephony is difficult to setup.
The credits earned always go to waste.

Likelihood to Recommend

I've tried other CRMs and Zoho WorkDrive has been the best in our opinion. It's very intuitive and keeps my team organized. We also really like to use the Zoho Sign app for convenience of getting contracts signed by our customers. We are eager to try many of the other apps that the suite has to offer.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We managed files in Zoho WorkDrive and shared access with group and individual people in our organization.

Every one can easily manage files and edit features.

Example : Sales Team document, Project Team documents, Personal Files etc

Pros

Example : Sales team data files including Zoho CRM files
Example : Project files with project document &
Example : Employee verification documents and other HR documents

Cons

Download speed is very slow
Mapped as network drive like Google drive (Application is available but not working properly)
Large file upload issue with slow internet

Every one can easily manage files and i like edit features.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Zoho WorkDrive to store and share files securely across teams. Our team upload designs, client VRF forms, Catalogue of our products, Helps us to send the files between the teams.

Pros

Our team can co-edit documents using built in Zoho writer.
Admin of our company can set role based permission on team folders.
Team can locate a keyword in scanned invoices across thousands of files in seconds
In unlimited version we can audit logs.

Cons

Zoho WorkDrive has limitations in sync and performance.
There is Sync limitations which lacks the selective or block and make it inefficient for large files
There is navigation issues like trash and shared items and tasks are hidden in menus.
Large files uploading and downloading is very slow. The speed lacks
In the storage part if we edit the file, the file takes the full file version and store it.
Missing feature is there is no proper encryption for the files and folders.

Likelihood to Recommend

We share the project client designs securely with link where only the group people have access.
We store reports with tracking.
Bad scenarios is we need fast folder search like we search in Google drive.

I use Zoho WorkDrive as part of our company's worksuite, and it plays a key role in managing all our product documentation, presentations, and business sheets. I find it easy to create, edit, and share within the organisation due to its smooth integration with other Zoho apps. I also appreciate the special feature of recording options like screen, audio, and video. It's convenient not having to use a third-party tool to first record and then upload to Zoho WorkDrive. It helps me record my screen and directly store and share with colleagues or peers, which is mostly used for showing recorded videos of any products to clients.

Pros

In-built Screen, audio and video recorder.
Proper access control of files and folders within the organization, teams as well as public level.
Code snippet create and share option, which helps developer like us to share code in any language with proper readability.

Cons

UI and UX can be improved.
Notifications are not rich, need improvements.
response and speed can be improved.

Zoho WorkDrive efficiently manages organisational documentation without needing one-to-one access permissions. It integrates well with other Zoho apps for easy creation, editing, and sharing files and folders. The recording feature helps me capture screen, audio, and video, which gets automatically stored on Zoho WorkDrive, and I can share it directly with colleagues or clients.
