Overall Satisfaction with Absolute Control

Absolute Control software is my solution to ensure endpoint protection. Features such as software resilience, device control, and full visibility of assists in terms of location and configurations.

Pros

  • Software Resilience to automatically reinstall a required application on the endpoint if it has been removed even after fresh OS installation.
  • Geolocation. Offers full visibility of endpoints related to physical location of the device in real time.
  • Automation to run power shell scripts on endpoint to mitigate and remediate misconfiguration or custom configurations.

Cons

  • Reports are not simple to generate.
  • Removal of Absolute application itself on decommissioned devices is complex and not managed by customer. Need to open a request with Absolute support.
  • Being able to completely remove Absolute software on retires endpoints could be really helpful.
  • Positive impact and ROI when it comes to endpoint and data protection.
  • ROI in terms of endpoint visibility and robust reporting.
  • Great ROI to protect endpoints and ability to grease assets if misplaced or stolen.
From set up and configuration, reporting, endpoint protection. Software resilience, and assets visibility. Absolute software offers the best solution to address above mentions points.

Absolute Software configurations are based on policies that can be configured una very detailed manner, which addresses different groups of endpoints. Absolute software is installed at the BIOS level, which makes the agent if the endpoint goes through OS reinstallation.
