Overall Satisfaction with Accounting by Wave
I actually became aware of Wave after one of my clients switched to Wave from Simply Accounting. He liked the cloud accounting and cloud storage feature and the ease of use and navigation. I now use Wave and have five clients who use it. It is an excellent system and the best feature is that the bank information is continuously uploaded. Key-stroking of data is a thing of the past.
The financial statements are delivered via PDF and the bank reconciliation functionality is very easy to use.I like the software because I can work from my home but I can quickly get feedback from my client or answers to entries that appear out-of-the-ordinary. It is functional and efficient for me and embodies the KISS principle.

- After I am invited to become an advisor and I ask questions about the business, I set up a chart of accounts. The client then uploads the banking information. Data upload is automatic after that and keystroking of disbursements is a thing of the past.
- The bank reconciliation function is easy to use.
- Cloud accounting and cloud storage saves me and the client headaches if there is a glitch with a computer or if there are server problems with an older system.
- The software is free. Wave handles all of the updates.
- I encourage my clients to take ownership of the invoicing and accounts receivable process. It is easy to do.
- Possibly quicker collection of credit card collections using Stripe.

No other products tried or sampled. I have extensive experience with (installed) accounting products. They are costly and not efficient for an online business environment. I can focus on data modification - report generation and financial analysis. This allows me to maximize my efficiency and improves my billing potential.
