Overall Satisfaction with Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR

[Adaptive Defense 360 / WatchGuard EPDR is being used] for hybrid work environments. It [has] allowed us to create groups with differing rulesets that provide workers access to information in a secure manner. The ransomware abilities of this product are second to none.

  • Peer to peer on the internet
  • Reduced support staff.
  • Reduced overhead on Help Desk.
  • Less PC problems, slowness, etc due to XXXware.

It is very simple to use, configure and roll out. Remediation is also very easy. I've been using this product since its inception (before it became EPDR) and I must say Adaptive Defense 360 seems to be far ahead in its class.
As a managed services company, we can provide reporting alerting and manage everything very easily. The only reason I can see why people use other products is because of their price and that they do not understand the differences between the methods of virus/malware/ransomware detection and response.
We are an MSP and we use Adaptive Defense 360 as our product of choice. It complies with GDPR around EDR as well as the fact it seems to be the only product using whitelists that do not have to be maintained by I.T departments. Also, you cannot zero-day it due to the fact that as soon as a system call to the encrypted libraries is called, it stops all activity on the encryption side. That is my limited knowledge of it, but our clever guys have tried to circumvent its protection and we are very happy.

It is also extremely easy to deploy using tools supplied by Adaptive Defense 360 —you can literally do thousands of users automatically. Also, the single pane provides a lot of easy viewing reporting on the important metrics. I don't know anything else that can beat it. I know there may be a number of other requirements that are satisfied by other vendors, but, then again, they will not be as good on the ransomware or other areas.
