Overall Satisfaction with Adobe After Effects

We use Adobe After Effects to help provide special effects and "wow factor" into training videos to help keep them entertaining and engaging.
  • isolating subjects and removing backgrounds
  • animations
  • creating title and credit sequences
  • Resource Use - After Effects is a huge resource hog. I'm hopeful that future versions continue the trend of improving on this

  • After Effects makes us look like a bigger company, allowing us to compete in places where we would rarely get looked at because of our size.
Because of our use of other Adobe products, and how they all play well together, we never really looked at using any other product.

Adobe Animate (formerly Flash), Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Tinkercad
After Effects is great for adding finishing touches to videos and making them appear as though they cost a lot more to make than they actually did. It's perfect for looking like you have a big Hollywood studio budget when you are really on a mac and cheese budget.
