Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Marketo Engage
We use Marketo to engage with our clients and prospects via email primarily. But we also use it as a hub to consume other activity such as PGI webcasts and AEM data.

- set up journeys and campaigns
Cons
- API enhancements - there isn't much in this area and we would love to see something like the ability to create and update custom objects via the API
- Email level dedupes - while this is available, Marketo does more at the profile ID level instead of at an email address unless it is in a campaign.

We are focused on client deepening by providing more focused content that will resonate with our existing population. We are also at the same time leveraging the product to expand via lead acquisition. In both cases we leverage Marketo as a high touch channel .
Existing platform at my role, though in comparison to something like SFMC it did not make a huge distinction and I think we get more flexibility out of Marketo since we need an application that was not so bound to a OOB CRM
