Overall Satisfaction with Altaro VM Backup
We have used Altaro, not only internally, BUT also at our customers we support. Altaro is really a good product, and their support (when required) is super friendly and excellent support. It gives us a single pane of glass view for our customers, and give us peace of mind.
Pros
- Backup of Hyper-V environments for me is super easy to do
- Restoration of emails into a PST file hassle free.
- Licensing is awesome.
- Excellent training portal
Cons
- I think, from my side, there is not really major issues in Altaro.
- Trustworthy backups
- On the positive side, Altaro is easy to implement, manage, and maintain.
- On the "negative" side, I can honestly not think of anything offhand.
Each of the products got its own strengths. For me, it is all about the customer, and about their requirements. Altaro is very good software, and I can get protected what I need to for our customers, and that is the most important part.

Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled
- None really. Once we had our MSP Portal up, the rest is super easy.

When you need support, you do not want to wait hours and hours, fortunately, that is not the case with Altaro, their support can truly inspire a lot of us to deliver our own best every day the same way they deliver support to us.
